TrakOn is designed to help you organize tasks, build routines, receive reminders, track progress, and stay focused. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use your personal information for cross-app advertising or tracking.
1. Information We Collect
Depending on how you create and use your TrakOn account, we may collect information that you provide directly to us or that is necessary to provide TrakOn's features.
- Name: Used to identify and personalize your TrakOn account and experience.
- Email Address: Used for account creation, authentication, verification, security, and account-related communications.
- Phone Number: When provided or used as part of phone verification, it may be used for authentication and account security.
- User ID: A unique account identifier may be created and associated with your TrakOn account to authenticate you and provide account functionality.
- User Content: Information you create while using TrakOn may include task names, task descriptions, categories, priorities, schedules, routines, reminder settings, and other productivity-related information.
2. How We Use Your Information
Information collected by TrakOn is used primarily to provide and maintain app functionality. This may include:
- Creating and maintaining your TrakOn account.
- Authenticating and verifying users.
- Displaying personalized account information.
- Providing task, scheduling, routine, and productivity features.
- Providing reminder and notification functionality.
- Helping protect accounts from unauthorized access.
- Supporting account deletion and other account-management features.
- Maintaining and improving the reliability and security of TrakOn.
3. Tasks and Productivity Information
TrakOn allows you to create tasks, schedules, routines, reminders, priorities, and other productivity information.
Some TrakOn productivity information may be stored locally on your device. Information that is transmitted to TrakOn services is used only as necessary to provide the applicable app functionality.
4. Notifications
TrakOn may request permission to send notifications such as task reminders, priority-based reminders, carry-over notifications, daily motivation, daily summaries, end-of-day reminders, and streak-related notifications.
You can control notification permissions through TrakOn's notification settings and through your device's system settings.
5. Third-Party Services
TrakOn uses third-party technology providers to support certain features of the application. These services may process limited information necessary to provide authentication, security, account management, and backend functionality.
TrakOn currently uses services provided by Google Firebase, including services such as Firebase Authentication, Firebase App Check, Cloud Functions, and related Firebase infrastructure.
These providers process information according to their own privacy and security practices.
6. Advertising and Tracking
TrakOn does not use your name, email address, phone number, user content, or TrakOn user ID for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
TrakOn does not sell your personal information to advertisers or data brokers.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information handled by TrakOn. This includes using established authentication and backend services and limiting data use to the functionality required by the application.
No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and therefore absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
8. Data Retention
Account-related information may be retained for as long as your TrakOn account remains active or as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or protect the security and integrity of TrakOn.
Locally stored information may remain on your device until it is removed through TrakOn, account deletion, app removal, or device storage management.
9. Account and Data Deletion
TrakOn provides an account-deletion option within the application. You may request deletion of your TrakOn account through the Settings section of the app.
Account deletion is intended to permanently remove the associated authentication account and applicable TrakOn account information, subject to information that may need to be retained for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.
10. Children's Privacy
TrakOn is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable privacy laws. If we learn that personal information has been collected from a child in a manner that requires parental consent and such consent was not obtained, we will take appropriate steps to delete the information.
11. Your Choices
You can manage information and functionality within TrakOn, including certain profile information, notification preferences, and account settings.
You may also control permissions such as notifications through your device's system settings.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as TrakOn evolves, as features are added or changed, or as legal and regulatory requirements change.
When material changes are made, the effective date shown at the top of this page may be updated.
